Tools to Protect My Child

Privacy settings:

On sites such as facebook, privacy settings can be activated to prevent free and open access to your child.

Parental control packages:

Often available through internet providers, some are free, some at a cost. Choose the one that’s right for your family. These can help with options to filter, time control, monitor and some packages will provide reports about what websites are being accessed.

As well as internet providers, gaming providers have parental controls available also, these include X-Box, Playstation and Wii.
